Responsibilities:
The role requires on-site oversight of business operations and shipment coordination.
● Operations Management: Manage the operations of the restaurant while
seamlessly integrating the operations of the new in-home service. This includes
efficient route organization for deliveries, inventory management, and
maintaining service quality at every touchpoint. Align and support with staff to
support both businesses and cross-sell across the business lines.
● Strategic Oversight: Lead the execute the wine and cheese in-home
experience, from concept development to launch and beyond. Work closely with
culinary, marketing, and logistics teams to create compelling offerings that drive
business growth and elevate our brand.
● Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food supplies and
restaurant equipment. Oversee the ordering of new supplies, negotiate with
suppliers for best prices, and ensure timely deliveries.
● Financial Management: Prepare and manage the restaurant's budget. Monitor
expenses and revenues, implement cost-saving measures, and report on
financial performance to senior management.
● Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain good relationships with vendors,
suppliers, and other external partners. Negotiate contracts to secure
advantageous terms.
● Packaging and Delivery Innovation: Innovate and streamline the packaging
and delivery processes for our in-home wine and cheese experiences. Focus on
sustainability, and cost-effectiveness, to enhance customer satisfaction while
reducing delivery times and costs.
● Continuous Improvement: Regularly review operational processes and
customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to
enhance efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
● Drive Efficiency: Focus on, and deliver financial efficiencies arising from the
improvement of processes, contracts, and/or routes.
● Compliance: Ensure all restaurant operations comply with legal and regulatory
requirements, including labor laws, alcohol regulations, and health and safety
standards.
● Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with other roles to develop and
implement marketing strategies and promotional events to attract new customers
and retain existing ones.
Qualifications:
● Entrepreneurial experience demonstrated through successful ownership and
management of businesses, preferably with a background in operations
management, logistics or delivery services.
● A minimum of 5 years of overall management experience, with a focus on
customer service and operations management.
● Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage, train, and inspire a
team.
● Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budget management, cost control,
and financial reporting.
● Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to effectively address
customer needs, feedback, and complaints.
● Knowledge of or a strong interest in wine and cheese, with a willingness to
become an expert in pairing and curating experiences for at-home enjoyment.
