Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products.
• Provide product recommendations and answer inquiries about cheese and Wisconsin-made products.
• Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience.

Sales and Merchandising:

• Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
• Assist in creating eye-catching displays to promote featured products.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts and assist with receiving shipments.

Deli Kitchen Assistance:

• Assist in food preparation tasks such as slicing cheese, meats, and other deli items.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other deli offerings according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed at all times.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding customer feedback, inventory needs, and operational issues.

Qualifications:

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capable of bending, stooping, and reaching to perform job tasks.
