Job Summary:
The Foundry Hotel Asheville, Curio Collection is seeking an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests in a fast-paced and high-end environment. This is a full-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry. The Bartender will report directly to the Bar Manager and will work collaboratively with the entire food and beverage team to ensure exceptional service is provided to all guests.

Responsibilities:
-Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
-Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests, taking orders, and making menu recommendations
-Ensure all drinks are made to the highest standard of quality and presentation
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment
-Monitor and restock inventory to prevent shortages and waste
-Comply with all state and local laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol
-Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
-Work collaboratively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
-Adhere to all hotel and food and beverage policies and procedures
Requirements:
-Must be at least 21 years old
-Extensive knowledge of cocktail making and mixology
-Strong customer service and communication skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
-Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
-Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
-Must have a valid state-issued Bartender license
