The START (Stimulant treatment and Recovery Team) at CHD is looking for a clinician who wants to help individuals experiencing a Stimulant Use disorder. Our team is at the forefront of change within the Substance Use community. This unique program treats the mind and body. We work closely with medication prescribers, nurse case management, recovery specialist, and any other CHD recovery programs. We offer groups around medical and mental health impact on the individual who is experiencing the SU disorder. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clinician works to fully engage clients in the treatment alliance. Clinician performs individual, and/or group treatment to help clients improve their presenting symptoms and problems
• Clinician recognizes and responds as needed to protect the safety and well-being of clients including: mandated reporting, referring for crisis evaluations, higher levels of care, and managing crises.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to enhance client success.
• Consistently meet billing and documentation deadlines to ensure smooth operations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay at the forefront of your field.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
• Lived experience, or has a specialty/interest in working with this unique population
• Experience working with diverse populations such as but not limited to, un-homed, LGBTQIA, underserved communities, and indigenous individuals.
• Eligibility for credentialing by MassHealth and licensure in the state of MA.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication, with competence in electronic health records.
