Job Overview:

We are seeking dedicated EMT-Basic professionals to join our team. As an EMT-Basic, you will play a crucial role in providing emergency medical care to patients in various settings.

Duties:

- Respond to emergency calls promptly and provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill or injured
- Assess the nature of the patient's condition and manage injuries or illnesses following established protocols
- Perform patient assessment, including vital signs monitoring, patient care, and medication administration
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities such as hospitals or trauma centers
- Communicate with medical personnel at the emergency department to ensure continuity of care
- Utilize medical equipment and tools effectively, including DME (Durable Medical Equipment)
- Maintain accurate patient care documentation

Experience:

- Prior experience working in an EMS setting is beneficial
- Proficient in aseptic techniques and infection control practices
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with administering medications under supervision

Requirements:

- Valid EMT-Basic certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in high-stress situations
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
