The property, formerly the Inverrary Vacation Resort, was once an exclusive tennis club in Broward County made famous by Jackie Gleason, who hosted a PGA tournament in Inverrary from 1972 to 1980. The Chateau Mar’s ode to its historic background includes classic, throw-back furniture and décor throughout the property, including all sorts of fun and interesting memorabilia.

All guest rooms offer large 55” HD flat screen TVs, interactive Alexas in every room for hi-tech interactivity, classic vinyl turntables with Bluetooth, as well as Amazon tablets for use while at the property.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Front Desk Agent to cover all front desk operations, including guest check-in and check-out, reservations, and guest services. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless coordination and guest satisfaction
• Oversee reservation management, including room assignments, rate adjustments, and inventory control
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to front desk operations
• Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in front desk operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

• 8 hour shift
• Nights as needed
• Weekends as needed
