Position: Budget Analyst IV – Budget Policy Developer
Start Date: ASAP
Hourly Pay Rate: $38.00
Schedule: Part-time @ 20 hours per week.
Description of work duties to be performed:
- Help to develop, compile, and report on Operating Budget for next fiscal year
- Assist with Cost Allocations
- Assist with budget presentations to Executive Management or Board on Agency wide Budget for 2025
- Facilitate compilation of Legislative Appropriation Request
- Experience updating or creating standard operating procedures
Required Experience and Education:
- 4 year degree from an accredited university or college in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics or similarly related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience with budgeting in a state government agency
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software (may request testing from selected candidate)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze historical expenditure data
