Looking to hire a Welder MIG & TIG to join our dynamic team! Successful candidates will ideally have worked in the steel industry (but not required) and have a solid level of experience with the specialized products and services produced by steel service centers.

• Perform arc, heliarc, and plastic fusion welding operations on a variety of production parts involving similar and dissimilar metals and materials including stainless steel, aluminum, steel, and other metals, where fabrication normally requires down hand welding.
• Use fixtures provided, apply standard procedures, and methods.
• Operate welding machine, determine welding sequence to avoid distortion set current and amperage, select welding rod according to individual job requirements to obtain proper fusion welding rod according to individual job requirements to obtain proper fusion welding for mechanical strength and to proper penetration and fusion, and avoid burning or distorting metal.

Visually inspect work for quality of weld.

• Detect unusual conditions or defective materials and report to manager. Occasionally perform oxy-acetylene welding as required in special cases or maintenance repair work.
• Keep and maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
