Chase Staffing formerly Chase Professionals is Hiring a Tester Near Lithia Springs, GA

Must have 2 years of RECENT experience as a QC Lab Technician (This is a minimum requirement)

At times the product can cause the area to be dusty and someone with allergies or asthma usually does not do well in these positions.

Testing materials

Other warehouse duties as needed and help keep work area clean

Loading, moving, and stacking product

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly if needed

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Must have reliable transportation to and from work

Job Summary

To test and evaluate incoming raw material and finished goods to ensure compliance to specifications.

Background and drug test required

Primary Responsibilities

1. Perform quality control tests of production batches and finished goods to determine accuracy of batch manufacturing, and insure conformance with established standards, determining adjustments as necessary.

Perform color checks, color matching, and determine color adjustments independently as needed with zero to no mis-judgements.

2. Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure proper working order. Trouble shoot equipment problems and correct if possible.

3. Maintain storage of finished product and RM retains.

4. Insure correct weight of finished product and conformance with packaging specifications prior to shipping (weight audits).

5. Maintain accurate and detailed quality assurance documentation and records in accordance with departmental procedures.

6. Maintain standard operating procedures, statistical quality control program, and other quality programs as established.

7.5-S - WORKPLACE ORGANIZATION - HOUSEKEEPING - Maintains an orderly and clean work environment ensuring all items are properly labeled and stored for everyone’

s use and convenience. Arrange workplace for optimum efficiency and effectiveness and maintain accurate work-related and production records at all times.

Eliminates waste and distractions to reduce set-up times, unnecessary WIP inventory and shortages. Prevent the substitution or use of wrong materials or tools.

Set up, adjust, clean, wipe and maintain safe equipment and work area for self and others. Schedule activities to ensure assignments are completed accurately, on-time, within budget and with minimal or no waste.

Demonstrate never-ending discipline in maintaining a clean, organized, safe and productive work environment. Strives to get the best value for every dollar spent.

8. CUSTOMER FOCUS - Always aims to satisfy the customer - meet commitments / promises, shows a sense of urgency and takes appropriate actions without delay.

Works to prevent and resolve customer and workplace conflicts. Deals with problems effectively and thoroughly. Promotes cooperation / collaboration.

11. ADMINISTRATION - Collects, prepares and completes, communicates, distributes, tracks, maintains and retains records needed to effectively perform work.

Observes all work related policies and procedures, including job assignments, schedules, documentation and record keeping and is fully competent in the use of applicable technology.

12. ATTENDANCE - Maintain consistent and regular attendance (i.e., no unscheduled / improperly reported tardies / absences) - report to work on time, including assigned overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays, work all scheduled hours and volunteer for additional duty and / or assignments.

Notifies appropriate parties when tardy or absent.

13. SAFETY – Knows / observes all health, safety and environmental compliance standards, regulations and policies. Practices safe / healthy behaviors.

Regularly inspects for, reports and corrects unsafe and hazardous conditions. Actively participates in, successfully completes and applies appropriate safety training.

Pursues involvement in professional organizations and civic / community groups as needed.

15. Accomplishes all tasks as assigned or requested.
