Job Summary
To test and evaluate incoming raw material and finished goods to ensure compliance to specifications.
Background and drug test required
Primary Responsibilities
1. Perform quality control tests of production batches and finished goods to determine accuracy of batch manufacturing, and insure conformance with established standards, determining adjustments as necessary.
Perform color checks, color matching, and determine color adjustments independently as needed with zero to no mis-judgements.
2. Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure proper working order. Trouble shoot equipment problems and correct if possible.
3. Maintain storage of finished product and RM retains.
4. Insure correct weight of finished product and conformance with packaging specifications prior to shipping (weight audits).
5. Maintain accurate and detailed quality assurance documentation and records in accordance with departmental procedures.
6. Maintain standard operating procedures, statistical quality control program, and other quality programs as established.

s use and convenience. Arrange workplace for optimum efficiency and effectiveness and maintain accurate work-related and production records at all times.
Eliminates waste and distractions to reduce set-up times, unnecessary WIP inventory and shortages. Prevent the substitution or use of wrong materials or tools.
Set up, adjust, clean, wipe and maintain safe equipment and work area for self and others. Schedule activities to ensure assignments are completed accurately, on-time, within budget and with minimal or no waste.
Demonstrate never-ending discipline in maintaining a clean, organized, safe and productive work environment. Strives to get the best value for every dollar spent.
