Candidate for this position must be friendly, outgoing, organized, comfortable communicating with patients about finances and treatment plans.

Requirements

• Dental office experience required. Orthodontic office experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills a must. Sales experience beneficial.
• General office skills including multi-line phones, correspondence, MS Office software
• Ability to learn specifics of our office and Orthodontic specific software
• Authorized to work in the US
• Speaks English

The treatment coordinator is responsible for the new patient entry process and for creating starts. This position focuses on welcoming new patients, follow ups, communication with referring offices, checking on insurance coverage, reviewing finances and treatment plans.

• Welcomes patients, assists the doctor in the exam
• Clearly explains treatment options, answers patient questions regarding treatment, discusses related costs and fees
• Conducts interview to understand the patient’s oral health history, concerns, and objectives
• Communicates with all outside and third-party financing companies offered to patients and educate patients on the available financing options
• Create, present, and enter financial contracts on paper and in Ortho software
• Perform general office duties and other duties as required
