Join our team as a Technical Application Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in the day-to-day administration of the Firm's time and billing system. As a key player, you'll support attorneys and internal clients, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with the IT team on technology projects related to the Aderant practice management system. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to engage with internal clients, assess and interpret external client requirements, and customize Aderant for client and firm financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
1. System Support:
- Administer the Firm's time and billing system, including Aderant Expert applications, DMS, and other financial systems.
- Support custom ancillary applications integrated with Aderant Expert.
- Maintain user security within Aderant Expert.
2. Data Management:
- Provide data and reports to Accounting and other departments using tools such as T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Aderant Expert, and Excel.
- Review and maintain the firm's hub and lookup information.
3. Customization and Development:
- Use Aderant Expert's Design Studio and End-User painter to customize forms, develop custom modules, and inquiries.
- Identify and resolve end-user and data issues for Aderant Expert.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between all sub-departments.
- Open tickets with Aderant support to resolve issues.
- Support collaboration between Aderant Expert and third-party applications.
- Propose and implement new processes to improve departmental efficiency.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain documentation for the Financial Systems group.
- Produce SSRS reports for client and firm financial reporting.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in systems or accounting strongly preferred.

- Proficient knowledge of Aderant Expert, Elite Enterprise, or similar accounting software.
- Understanding of accounting transaction flows.
- Proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
- Initiative and ability to work independently.
- Excellent SQL skills and ability to write stored procedures.
- Experience with Aderant Expert framework and table structure.
- Experience with SSRS reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
