As the Senior Vice President (SVP) - Utah Region, you’llplay a crucial role as a key member of our collaborative Senior LeadershipTeam. Together with your team, you will drive the business growth of ChartwayCredit Union and enhance member experiences in Utah. Your functionalresponsibilities include leading Utah’s regional banking, aligning with ourcorporate strategic plan through the assigned branch network, overseeingcomprehensive business development activities, and fostering partnerships withcorporate associates. You’ll engage both internally and externally across alllevels, with a strong focus on cultivating relationships, especially amongregional senior leaders and influential stakeholders. This role encompassesoverseeing branch operations for the organization and requires activeengagement with a wide range of stakeholders, contributing to the strength of region andinfluential relationships.
RESPONSIBLE AND ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

• Empowering Leadership Serves as member of senior leadership team, collaborating and contributing to the successful creation and execution of the credit union’s strategy and business plan for safety, soundness, brand reputation and growth and employs an inspirational leadership style that encourages collaboration, empathy and shared purpose.
• Community Partnership Serves as most senior regionally-based leader and face of Chartway. Passionately represents Chartway in multiple arenas designed for increased regional impact and brand awareness. Cultivates relationships within the community supporting our multi-cultural strategy and establishes the credit union as a trusted partner in local initiatives, financial education programs and outreach efforts.
• Member-Centric Experience Drives financial success and deepens our community impact by assuming responsibility for consumer banking, branch network and business growth in Utah. Collaborates with Chief Banking Officer for regionally-appropriate Lending programs and market rates that meet corporate growth and safety desires. Collaborates with Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer to create regionally-appropriate Deposit programs and market rates that meet corporate growth and safety desires.
• Local Market Expansion Identifies opportunities to expand Chartway presence within communities, contributing to financial inclusion and economic growth. Provides influential guidance to Senior Vice President of Marketing to create regionally-appropriate marketing and sponsorship programs that balance regional awareness / growth and corporate strategy and community impact.
• Ethical Compliance & Responsibility Leads Utah branch network for member experience and business growth – with operational process synergy in place corporately. Upholds the highest ethical standards, ensuring all retail operations adhere to regulatory guidelines, compliance standards, and socially responsible baking practices.
• Promise Foundation Provides regional support to President of Chartway Promise Foundation for requisite community contribution growth & impact in region.

• Knowledge of financial institution regulatory standards

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Education: Bachelors degree required. 
• Experience: Established creditunion and/or banking leader with a proven track record of driving growth anddeepening community relationships within UT market. Strong knowledge of retailbanking products, services and trends.
• Leadership: Must be ableto lead in alignment with Chartway’s leadership competencies. Experienced inteam-building skills with the ability to appreciate and inspire a diverseworkforce. Thrives in the confluence of strategic challenge, business andorganizational growth, relationship building and fun.
