Charter School Associates is Hiring a Dean of Curriculum and Instruction - Independence Academy Near Dover, FL

Manage and coordinate state and school-based
Conduct workshops as needed; plan, organize and disseminate .
Provide In- Service training to staff and parents as needed.
Maintain records as required.
Perform supervisory duties as required by the
Assist in protection of students and school property.
Show sensitivity to students, parents, and community.
Fulfill the terms of any affected written contract and adhere to the Code of Ethics and Principles of the Professional Conduct of the Education Profession In Florida.
Assist in the enforcement of all federal, state and district regulations, policies and procedures.
Provide outstanding customer service and use positive interpersonal communications skills.
Supervise students on campus including parking lots, cafeteria, restrooms, athletic events, social activities, programs and assemblies.
Collect, review and analyze data; implement strategies with parents, students and teachers to facilitate student behavior change.
Complete investigative and due process procedures to conclude appropriate disciplinary action.
Enforce School Policies and Procedures.
Participate in the development and implementation of all school practices as a member of the principal's administrative teams.
Assume full responsibility of the school in the absence of principal.
Make presentations to various groups.
Complete annual performance evaluation for certified and classified employees as assigned by the principal.
Collect, review, and analyze assessment data with Faculty and Administration in order to facilitate instructional change and improvement with the ultimate goal of maximizing student achievement.
Make all decisions and perform all tasks in accordance with Viera Charter Schools' Organizational Values.
Ensure compliance with Board rules and applicable federal laws and regulations.
Supervise teacher's grade book, Interims and report cards.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
