POSITION OVERVIEW
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for overseeing full-cycle recruiting and hiring processes, including sourcing, scheduling, interviewing, and assessing candidates as well as effectively managing the offer process.  The Talent Acquisition Manager researches, develops, and implements effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
  2. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  3. Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  4. Create and conduct candidate generation sourcing activities, build strong candidate pipelines, and achieve hiring goals through referral generation, online social networking, job boards, resume database mining, search engine sourcing, and other means.
  5. Review resumes, prescreen candidates, assess candidates’ knowledge, skills, and abilities against position requirements, and make recommendations to the hiring manager.
  6. Schedule interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  7. Communicate effectively and timely with team members, candidates, and hiring managers.
  8. Collaborate with the hiring manager and the Human Resources Director during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  9. Manage grassroots recruiting activities such as networking, conducting in-person business visits, building relationships with local colleges and universities, technical schools, associations, chambers of commerce, third-party companies, and other talent sources.
  10. Coordinate all candidate onboarding processes and tasks.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies and with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation skills. 
  3. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  4. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  5. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  6. Proficient with, or has the ability to quickly learn, applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems. 
  7. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  8. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. At least two years’ experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process required.
  2. Bachelor’s degree required.
  3. Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred.
  4. SHRM-Certified Professional or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) credential preferred.
