Rochester Academy Charter School is seeking a Middle School Assistant Principal for the 2023-2024 school year and beyond. This is a 12 month position located at our building on 841 Genesee Street in Rochester, NY.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Student management and support- from discipline to restorative practice as a means to help students to achieve academic and social-emotional success
• Lead the intervention team for behavioral and discipline related concerns
• Communicate effectively with parents using a team approach to student support
• Conduct teacher observations
• Process student discipline according to the Code of Conduct
• Communicate with the facilities, food service and transportation teams to assure efficient facilities management.
