We are currently seeking an Assembler in the US to join our dynamic and fast-paced environment in the Aftermarket CPI business. In this role you will be responsible for working on compressor repair parts.
What needs to be done?
· Follow all safety and environmental directives.
· Disassemble and clean components. Inspect for flaws, cracks, etc.
· Operate manual and automated cleaning equipment.
· Operate assembly and testing machines.
· Able to read micrometers and veniers.
· Perform fitting operations of valve components requiring filing, sanding, buffing, drilling, tapping and any other normal operation required to fit the component to the valve.
· Capable of testing components to requirements while checking for leaks and improper function, and logging test data.
· Keep a clean and orderly work area and maintain accurate records and job history.
· Works with minimum supervision
What do you need to bring?
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
0-1 years of assembly experience
Reciprocating Compressor experience a definite plus- but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
