Our actors love their work and bringing characters to life for children. It's our goal to provide an Event Package for every budget and make Charming Memories for children.Job DescriptionWith Charming Events you'll be working as an independent contractor, managing and directing children's birthday parties, corporate events, and fundraisers. Party Coordinators are required to be open and friendly with people and kids. Those who are cast in this position are chosen for their professional demeanor, positive attitude and ability to work well with children. Party Coordinators are just as vital to birthdays as the Character Actor - the Coordinator is almost a character themselves. The role is a healthy balance between organized and in control, combined with upbeat and excited. You will announce the characters arrival, get them excited for games, manage the timeline, control music and more.RESPONSIBILITIES (will include but are not limited to) :Interacting with clients - Typically parents of childrenAnticipating the needs of guests and catering to their requestsManaging materials for parties and keeping them organizedAssisting Character ActorsConducting ALL aspects of the party, and leading children through each activity on a strict timelineKeeping a positive energy throughout eventOperating a bluetooth music systemDriving Character Actors to and from event locationFilling out Party Reports at the end of the dayQualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageMust have a drivers license and reliable vehicleMust have weekend availabilityMust be able to pass a background checkMust have weekend availabilityLOVE working with children!Additional InformationDO NOT APPLY IF YOU:Are timid, soft-spoken and uncomfortableSarcastic with children, often teasing or making a mockery of their beloved charactersDo not enjoy working with childrenDo not have a pleasant demeanor or clean-cut professional appearance.COMPENSATION:Starting pay rate is $10/hrOpportunity to earn bonus or pay raise based on experience and work performance10% Booking Bonus for referrals made by you!Once you've applied, we will respond whether or not there is an immediate position for you.
