Charlotte Behavioral Health Care is Hiring a Clinical Supervisor Near Punta Gorda, FL
- Provides oversight of day-to-day clinical and identified staff of the Recovery Center
- Provides clinical assessment, service coordination, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning for the residential program.
- Assessment of individuals with substance use disorders with treatment recommendations provided to treatment team and other service providers.
- Ensures clinical program meets internal and external audit standards.
- Collaborates with internal and external treatment providers to ensure appropriate treatment recommendations and discharges plans are in place.
- Provides supervision to clinical and identified staff to ensure all required interventions and daily completion of documentation is completed timely.
- Collaborates with staff, management, and internal/external stakeholders using a team approach to maintain or improve quality of service delivery.
- Conducting individual and family sessions, group therapeutic activities, and discharge planning
- Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of all information in the clinical record.
- Actively respond to individuals served at the Recovery Center who show signs of crisis, which may include mental health symptomology, agitation or violence. Work as a team with other staff to de-escalate individuals served.
- Screens referrals for appropriateness and coordinates admissions.
- Communicate admission to agency staff, programs and / or community partners who are currently involved with individuals served.
- Develop a behavioral treatment plan with measurable objectives that the individuals served can works toward while completing residential treatment.
- Lead treatment team, complete and assign weekly cases to the team.
- Complete chart audits while updating and monitoring accuracy of clinician tracker.
- Master’s degree or higher in human services field.
- Minimum one (1) year experience working with individuals in behavioral health or substance use services
- Supervisory experience (interviewing, hiring, supervising, and discipline of staff) preferred.
- Experience working with individuals in crisis or substance use is preferred.
- Experience with case management is a plus.
- Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test.
- Valid FL drivers’ license, insurance, and safe driving record.
- Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
- Ability to use a computer

- Ability to manage stressful situations and display appropriate work demeanor and boundaries.
- Knowledge of community resources and ability to effectively communicate with community organizations.
