Job Purpose:

The service advisor is responsible for providing excellent customer service by managing the service process from the initial customer contact through to the completion of the service visit. This includes diagnosing vehicle issues, advising on necessary repairs and maintenance, coordinating with the service team, and ensuring the timely completion of work..

Duties:

• Greet customers and provide a welcoming experience.
• Listen to customers' concerns and vehicle issues attentively.
• Gather detailed information about the vehicle’s history and current problems.
• Schedule service appointments and manage the service calendar.
• Create detailed repair orders that outline the customer’s concerns, the vehicle’s issues, and the proposed solutions.
• Communicate with service technicians to ensure they understand the customer's concerns and the necessary repairs.
• Diagnose vehicle issues based on customer information and initial inspection.
• Provide customers with detailed explanations of the necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
• Advise customers on additional services and repairs that may be needed.
• Provide cost estimates for repairs and maintenance.
• Offer promotional services and upsell additional products and services.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs.
• Process payments and manage billing and invoicing.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and filed appropriately.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction.
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills.

• Technical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
• Proficiency in using automotive service software and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team dynamic environment.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive services is a plus.
• Previous experience in an automotive service role is preferred.
• Proficiency with relevant computer software and technology

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $510.00 - $610.00 per week
