Allergy Nurse (RN, LPN)

Charleston ENT & Allergy has an immediate full-time need for an Allergy Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing office in Hilton Head! Critically important to the success of the Allergy Department, the Allergy nurse will care for new and established patients within the allergy immunotherapy program.

Duties

• Triaging new and existing Allergy patients
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Preparing and maintaining supplies and equipment for allergy treatments
• Providing direct patient care, including administering allergy immunotherapy
• Monitoring patients' medical status for possible adverse reactions following exposure to allergens
• Performing allergy testing and pulmonary function tests as ordered by providers
• Completing appropriate documentation and maintaining patient health records in EHR
• Providing and reinforcing patient and family teaching/counseling within scope of practice
• Floating between front and back-office responsibilities as needed
• Other duties as assigned
