Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Conduct analysis, specification, design, and implementation and testing phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Interact with business analysts to study the requirements and design interfaces for the various use cases. Drive customization and enhancement of applications as per user/client requirements. Development predictive analytics, dashboards, and monitoring. Develop high quality, industry standard CI/CD orchestration systems to reduce friction for software delivery. Provide real-time troubleshooting of application workflows and incorporate feedback to development. Work with the development teams to design scalable, robust systems using cloud architecture. Build automation using industry tools to deploy applications and services. Manage, support, and build applications within Cloud. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details

Salary: $157,325 - $246,800

What you have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s related experience.

Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills: Operating real time machine critical trading environments while managing incidents across the platform using tools like Jira, BitBucket, Tidal, and Remedy; Developing Front End applications using Html and AnjularJs; Modernizing legacy monolith applications to micro services using Spring Boot and deploying them to privately managed Pivotal Cloud Foundry; Creating server-side components based on Spring boot, Spring Batch, and Hibernate; Databases like MSSQL or Oracle; and Utilizing monitoring tools like Splunk or AppDynamics for real time data.
