This team, Operational Support and Account Solutions - Advistor Services (OSAS AS) is the primary operations arm for Advisor Services new accounts. OSAS AS Senior Manager is a leader with passion towards executing as a member of a team committed to the highest level of client satisfaction. The position requires a dynamic leader who can hire, motivate, inspire and develop a diverse team responsible for performing and executing on our organization’s purpose and mission. In this role, you will manage a multi-faceted team that provides operational support. This is a fast paced, detail-oriented environment requiring the ability to build and foster relationships across the firm in order to be successful. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the direction of the organization by developing a clear and compelling vision of what is needed for success

• Building strong partnerships within and across the broader organization that bridge support for ideas, proposals, projects and solutions

• Understanding and managing risk and ability to coach team members accordingly. Effectively makes difficult decisions in a timely manner.

• Delivering results that align with the organization’s strategic objectives and that achieve balance between operational excellence and the client experience

• Creating a team environment that fosters engagement and an achievement-oriented culture

• Coaching employees to excellence. Willingly accepts ownership for the leadership and effectiveness of both their team and the organization.

• Leading peer managers by proactively taking lead to collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative approaches and methods for accomplishing work that support the leadership vision

• Passion for the client experience

What you have

• 3-5 years’ experience in leadership or management role

• Demonstrated leadership experience or capabilities in current role

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics, business administration, or related area, preferred

• Active Series 7, 63, and 9/10 or 24/4 licenses required

• Must enjoy a detail-oriented position in a fast paced, continuously changing environment

• Strong leadership, partnership, and collaboration skills

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Position allows for 100% remote work. The opportunity covers the Southern California region. The ability to work remote can be within the Division; must be in a major metro area within Southern California. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.
