We are recruiting a Litigation Legal Support Specialist to join a team of attorneys and professionals who are responsible for litigation and arbitration matters filed against the Company. The position involves using in-house systems and resources to perform research tasks and provide administrative support for the team members in Legal Services.

What you will do:

• Research: Locate electronically stored information (ESI) across the company for handling high-stakes litigation and arbitration matters at the direction of attorneys and other members of the litigation support team.
• Organize: Review, analyze, and prepare ESI, documents and other material for delivery to counsel in litigation and arbitration matters.
• Monitor and manage: Monitor for new legal matters filed against the company and initiate the company’s defenses by using the team’s processes and matter management software; provide administrative help with correspondence, file transfers, trial and hearing exhibits, team calendar management, and internal reporting.
• Collaborate: Support the team by skillfully operating and maintaining litigation management systems for matter management and reporting.

This is a hybrid position, working out of our Westlake, TX , corporate headquarters location

Required Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
• Legal support experience (or a general understanding of legal documents and processes), or familiarity with Schwab’s computer systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
