ROSS MIXING IS AN 180-YEAR OLD & GROWING COMPANY THAT PRODUCES UNIQUE AND CUSTOM INDUSTRIAL MIXERS USED BY COMPANIES ALL OVER THE WORLD FOR THE MANUFACTURING OF PAINTS, INKS, CHEMICALS, FOODS AND PHARMACEUTICALS.
THIS LOCATION HAS BEEN IN PORT ST LUCIE, FL SINCE 1986 AND EMPLOYEES APPROXIMATELY 40 PEOPLE OPERATING ONE SHIFT, M-F.

We are looking to add a Manual Machinist to our team for Port Saint Lucie, FL location. In this position you run lathes and mills. Emphasis on quality, a dedication to performing work accurately, and a keen attention to detail are a must.
This position will be responsible for:
- Must be able to run aspect of conventional equipment such at milling machines and engine lathes
- Must be able to read and/or decipher blueprints, hand drawn sketches and verbal instructions
- Must be able to produce threads on lathes of every variety such as internal, external
- Must have own basic tools such as micrometers, dial calipers and dial indicators
- CNC experience is a plus (HAAS, Mazak, Femco)
- Ability to recognize and calculate figures and amounts such as fractional size, decimal equivalent, and diameter
- Ability to perform math problems including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to perform required visual inspection of parts
- Ability to utilize precision measuring devices to inspect dimensions accurately
- Training on CNC and for specific applications is available
Working Hours: M-F, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. plus OT
