Charles River Center is Hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Near Easton, MA

Join Charles River Center’s expanding clinical team! The Registered Behavior Technician (R.B.T.) will be supporting the Clinical Team through data collection, documentation, staff training, attending I.S.P. meetings, and acting as a liaison between the clinical department and individuals’ programs. The R.B.T. will be working part of their shift in-ratio, with the same duties and responsibilities as a direct care employee when not fulfilling clinical duties. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and receive weekly supervision. Ability to establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship and ensuring programs are consistently implemented are vital to this role. This position is contingent upon the successful completion of RBT 40-hour coursework and passing of competencies within the first 45 days of employment. Additionally, the wage will be increased from $18/hr to $22/hr.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • create, implement, and train data collection systems
  • assist in completing Individual’s annual documentation
  • graph and summarize data regularly
  • provide staff training on PBS, behavior plans, behavior guidelines, data collection, and other behavioral techniques
  • assist supervising BCBA in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments which may include indirect and direct assessments
  • assist supervising BCBA in the development of Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Guidelines
  • utilize evidence-based behavioral techniques and problem-solving skills to address any challenges as they may arise
  • attend ISP meetings as needed
  • assist in behavioral crises that may occur
  • collaborate with families, guardians, and staff regarding behavioral needs of Participants
  • hold a valid Safety Care® certification
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma
  • Maintain credentials annually
  • Must have an interest in the field of behavioral sciences, and experience working with our populations in a direct care role
  • Valid driver’s license and transportation
  • Successful completion of all state and agency mandated trainings.
  • Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and other agencies.

Pay: $19.25 - $22.00 per hour
