Your path toward a fulfilling career begins at the Charles River Center. Consider joining our team of compassionate, hard-working and caring individuals that empower and support people with disabilities. The Charles River Center provides innovative opportunities, services, and supports for over 950 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury and mental health challenges, in the Metrowest and Southeast regions of Massachusetts.
Program Directors are responsible for the overall functioning of individual CRC homes, training, supervision and scheduling of support staff, development and implementation of the individuals’ ISPs and programs, provision of direct-care and supervision to individuals, coordination of medical services and follow-up, and rotational on-call duties. Program Directors are responsible for operating a CRC home under the principles of Normalization and in accordance with the principles and policies illustrated in the Charles River Community Living Program Policies and Procedures Manual. Since some individuals require personal care involving lifting and transfers in and out of wheelchairs, Program Directors of some homes must be physically able to perform this function.
Program Directors II are responsible for the overall functioning of the Association’s most intensively staffed/most clinically involved homes.
