Compensation: $19.25 per hour with a $1,500.00 sign-on bonus
Location Details:
The role is based in Needham, MA. Travel is required in the form of transporting individuals to scheduled activities in the community. The office is conveniently located near major highways, making it easily accessible for our team. 

📑 Role Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Successful completion and maintenance of the following: CPR and First Aid Certification; Human Rights; Universal Precautions; Mandated Reporting; DPPC; Fire Safety and Vehicle Safety Health and employees on the 1st day of employment.
• Must have direct support experience with people with ID/DD.
• Working knowledge of behavior modification techniques
• Must have a committed interest in delivering exceptional care and service
• Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and other agencies.

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

Daily Activity of a Life Skills Coach:

Providing Individual and Small Group Instruction: Offer personalized guidance and instruction in self-care, daily activities, communication, social interaction, and motor skills to individuals or small groups. Tailor instruction to meet the specific needs and abilities of each participant, fostering their personal growth and development.

Building Relationships: Engage with individuals on a one-on-one basis or in small groups to cultivate meaningful connections. Support the development of essential life skills and encourage independence and effective communication.

Transporting Individuals: Safely transport individuals to scheduled recreational activities within the community. Ensure their comfort and well-being during transit, maintaining a supportive and respectful atmosphere.

Participating in In-Service Training: Attend in-service training sessions as required to stay informed about best practices, regulations, and advancements in the field. Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care and support.

Adhering to Regulations and Policies: Maintain compliance with all relevant State and Federal regulations, agency policies, and procedures. Uphold established personnel practices to always ensure ethical and professional conduct.

Ensuring Health and Safety: Prioritize the health and safety of both individuals and staff members. Create a secure and supportive environment by implementing appropriate safety protocols and procedures.

Fulfilling Additional Duties: Assist supervisors by performing any other duties or tasks as requested. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in addressing diverse needs and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the program.
