Mental Health and Infertility Counselor (Part -Time)
We are looking for a master's level therapist to provide mental health and/or infertility
counseling services to clients at Charlandra Counseling Services. The job position is
hybrid with the option of working off-site and on-site at the Woodcliff Lake, NJ office.
The therapist will provide outpatient clinical therapy services to the treatment of
mothers, women, and teens with mental health and/or infertility challenges. Therapists
will receive training in providing third party reproduction evaluations and infertility
counseling, when demand requires.
Part-time therapists are required to carry a therapy caseload of 5-20 clients weekly.
Provide telehealth and in person sessions.
Billing and Credentialing done for you.
Clinical supervision provided towards licensure.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
● Perform virtual and on-site clinical therapy services to clients of Charlandra
Counseling Services as scheduled, per company policies.
● Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work are required.
● Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics
that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Charlandra
Counseling Services.
● Respond to clients’ requests within 24 hours whether such requests are made in
person, by phone, voicemail, etc.
● Respond to Charlandra Counseling Services team emails within 24 hours.
● Communicate with a client's treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.)
as necessary.
● Complete progress notes within 24 hours from the time of service. Timely
complete written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, immigration
affidavits, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from
time to time by Charlandra Counseling Services. or third parties in conjunction
with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion. Keep client files accurate
and up to date.
● Attend mandatory, monthly staff meetings and training as directed by Charlandra
Counseling Services.
● Complete intake assessments which include documentation such as Mental
Status Exams, Biopsychosocial, etc.
● Effectively create and carry out treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
● Complete timesheet within 24 hours reflecting the billable hours worked.
● Exercise sound clinical and professional judgment, including during telehealth
sessions.
● Complete online training of various systems used by practice, within 2 weeks of
hiring date.
● Other duties may be assigned by Charlandra Counseling Services.
Compensation:
Per diem, $45/ session (provisional licensed); $65/session (fully licensed)
Hours:
Part-time employment of 5-20 client sessions per week. Hours include some evenings
and/or weekends. Option to increase hours as demand dictates.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
● Master’s Degree in counseling /social work /marriage and family. A copy must be
provided to Charlandra Counseling Services.
● Active license (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) in the State of New Jersey. A copy must
be submitted.
● Holder of malpractice insurance.
● Technologically literate and able to use internet based systems and provide
telehealth using personal computer.
