Coming in as a PM with agency experience, your job will be to lead projects for Chariot — be the engineer who maps out the steps, budget, and resources, and keep it all running smoothly. No project is perfect, but you should be the glue that keeps client and agency teams on track. You will have to rely on your acumen, creativity, confidence, great communication, and comfort with digital marketing channels and principles.

You will need to show a track record of turning challenges into lessons learned and utilized for growth. And you will be a part of improving new processes along the way.While this is not a sales position, you should be able to make recommendations to clients and/or answer questions about services and how marketing tools and channels can be leveraged. We find that the best way to build a client’s trust is to share knowledge that is relevant to them.

You will need to be a parallel thinker forming and executing high-level, strategic project plans that address macro client goals, while also helping to ensure every detail and word is correct. 3 Years of Marketing Agency Project Management experience is required.

Other experience required:

• Proven basic knowledge of digital marketing, web design & development, SEO, copywriting, design, and the general website build process.
• Experience providing constructive push-back to clients in a way that they thank you for later. We’re talking concise knowledge and empathetic communication.
• Proven track record of handling project delays and curveballs with grace.
• Experience with PM software
• Experience with cloud-based file-sharing tech (Google Drive & Docs, Slack, etc. )
• Experience wearing multiple hats in an agency setting, especially around PM tasks
• A track record of taking initiative to be prepared — doing what it takes to be a resource for clients. Digging into Chariot resources, Google searching it, asking questions, etc.

As a Project Manager at Chariot, you would:

• Lead projects from Discovery to Deliverables/Launch and beyond
• Ensure all deadlines are met, internal and external
• Manage project scopes and budgets
• Allocate & manage internal team workloads
• Lead meetings with clients to walk through design, development, content, process, etc.
• Lead meetings with the internal team for task status, priorities, etc.
• Be the main point of contact and sole representative of Chariot for clients
• Help to scope and quote projects & tasks, get Estimates approved & signed
• Work closely with Chariot coordinators to best leverage tasks/time
• Nurture & grow Chariot processes/SOPs for constant improvement on training resources
• Be proactive, not reactive — think weeks/months ahead with everything you do
• Communicate with empathy & collaboration in mind to achieve goals
• Make minor, non-technical updates and content implementation (copy, images, and graphics) to websites. WordPress experience preferred.
