What You’ll Do

• As a Correctional Dialysis Nurse (LPN), you will be utilizing your technical, and critical thinking skills on a daily basis on-site and within the Correctional Facility.
• You will be responsible for performing and monitoring the actual dialysis treatment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

This unit is located in

• SCI Laurel Highlands, Somerset Pennsylvania

As in any setting, this involves teamwork and coordinating care with the health care team. In addition to the healthcare team, you are also required to maintain strong relationships, regular communication, and visibility with clients (site Managed Healthcare, DOC/BOP, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

• Current LPN license for Pennsylvania.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
• Dialysis experience is required
