Job Description:


Salary:
$19.30 - $22.60 per hour.

Higher compensation may be available for a candidate with advanced skills directly related to the applied for role.

Dental Patient Services Representative Float

Our Dental Patient Service Representative Float provides the first point of contact for our patients. They play a vital role in creating positive, friendly rapport with patients and are responsible for performing front office activities pertaining to the Dental department at both the Auburn and Grass Valley sites.

  • Greet and check in patients in a welcoming manner.
  • Collect co-payments and verify insurance coverage.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
  • And, other functions pertaining to patient flow as needed, with an emphasis on team-based care.
Experience and Skills:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to work at both the Auburn and Grass Valley clinics
  • One year experience in a Dental front office or back office setting.
  • One year hands-on experience with answering multi-line phones and using computer based applications in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills and ability to work effectively with Providers and Dental staff in stressful situations.
  • Understanding of HIPPA

** Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID - 19 vaccine before date of hire to be considered for employment. This includes the booster shot, when eligible.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year experience in a Dental front office or back office setting.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and spell English and Dental terminology correctly.
