Role Overview:

CHAOS is seeing a skilled and motivated Frontend Software Engineer to join our team. This is a highly-collaborative role which will allow you to wear multiple hats and work very closely with our product. As a member of our engineering team, you also have the opportunity to expand your skillset across our product line.

Responsibilities: 

• Build great UI/UX to support our customers urgent missions
• Work with Product, Design, our Field Engineers, and other software engineers to create beautiful and performant products
• Support CHAOS' product build, assembly, and testing
• Work with the commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware (e.g. computers, switches, Software-Defined Radios, etc.)
• Build scripts for automated deployment and test verification

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Experience coding with Typescript, React and Python
• Familiarity with Agile lifecycle processes including Scrum and Continuous Integration
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate on small teams
• U.S. Person status as this position will require the ability to access U.S.-only data systems

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience doing fullstack development, ideally with python frameworks like flask or FastAPI
• Experience with MaterialUI or other similar design systems
• Development experience in Ground or Airborne Sensors (Radars, EO/IR, EW, etc.)
• GPU-accelerated signal processing
