This position is the entry level position at our Hospital. If you have a genuine interest in pursuing a career working in an animal hospital, this is the job for you. You will work with a great team of experienced animal care professionals. Your training will include basic animal care, proper sanitation, disinfection and safety protocols. How to safely interact with our boarders and patients as well as their owners and learn how to observe animal behavior.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, friendly and a quick learner. Is comfortable interacting with our clients. Is a hard worker, has a strong interest in learning and takes direction well.

There is opportunity for advancement in this position.

The position requires a strong command of the English language, both verbal and written.

The ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Some previous kennel experience is helpful.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
