The Chemical Engineering Intern, under direct supervision of the VP Technology, is responsible for supporting test center activities in process development, process improvements, operations, and maintenance. This is an opportunity to gain experience in a hands on, fast paced environment for college students preparing for a career in Chemical Engineering.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø Provide support for pilot plant operations and laboratory experiments to test and verify equipment operating parameters.

Ø Assist with process validation tests in the lab or in the pilot plant by developing a test method, preparing equipment, recording data and reporting results.

Ø Assist in maintenance of existing equipment and development of new equipment.

Ø Always Work in a safe manner in both the pilot plant and the laboratory.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMNTS

v Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from an accredited program with at least two years of post-secondary education.

v Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.

v Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

v Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

v Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
