Life Science Industry engineering company is needing engineers with experience in designing production facilities for Flu Vaccines, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Blood Fractionation for the life-saving plasma industry, and more. Engineers are focused on ensuring the facilities can meet the demands of the manufacturing process. Understanding the manufacturing process and designing the components for the facility such as equipment, pumps, etc. to meet the demands of the manufacturing line.

Ø Experience with an EPC company in a process engineering role

Ø Experience in the Life Science, Advanced Manufacturing, or Advanced Technology industry

Ø Familiarity with process simulator tools such as Aspen or Hysys

Ø Familiarity with a hydraulic sizing program such as AFT Fathom and AFT Arrow

Ø May lead a team of several engineers to develop drawings and specifications for study, feasibility, Front End Engineering Development (FEED)/Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction (EPFC) phase project definition and/or execution.

Ø Develop Process Technology Quality Plans for small to moderate size projects.

Ø Develop and oversee Process Activity Plans for moderate to intermediate size projects.

v BS or MS Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical or Bioengineering.

v There are several openings at different levels of experience with 1 – 20 years’ experience being considered.

v Experience creating P&IDs, PFDs, and mass balances.

v Experience with pump hydraulics for more advanced systems

v Experience with Pressure Safety Devices - scenario analysis and load calculations

v Experience with control valve sizing
