Channel Personnel Services is Hiring an Entry Level Process Engineer Near Houston, TX
The Process Engineer will be sponsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and working to improve plant processes.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Improving equipment reliability
Ø Improving plant productivity and product quality
Ø Improving and implementing procedures for process safety
Ø Reducing downtime, costs, and utility usage
Ø Innovating solutions to recurring process issues and trouble-shooting
Ø Monitoring and troubleshooting the process within the plant facility.
Ø Collecting necessary data and information and use of engineering techniques and statistical analysis
Ø Use of technical knowledge of the process to include internet searches, and consultation with production and maintenance teams as well as vendors and field experts to ensure plant performance is optimized.
Ø Evaluating and completing assigned projects.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
v Engineering degree with preference for Chemical Engineering
v 1 year experience in a role within a manufacturing, chemical/industrial setting.
v Strong knowledge of process procedures within a chemical environment
