Key Responsibilities

•Must possess general knowledge of industrial products along with retail performance trends.

• Responsible for creating a balanced assortment of Treasure Hunt products for specialty stores and Balance of Chain.

•Ownership of OTB and tracking of purchase orders, invoicing, and payments.

•Develop inventory sales plan and track performance KPI’s, margin, WOS and sell-thru.

• Develop divisional and category roadmaps that implement strategy and improve processes.

•Ownership of merchandise execution in stores. Partner with in-store team.

•Create strategy around guaranteed in-stock items, purchase to support strategy.

•Work with marketing to lead and develop promotional calendar.

• Develop and maintain partnerships externally and cross-functionally.

•Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews to leadership team.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in related field

· Minimum 3 years buying experience at an associate level or higher.

· Travel up to 20%

Preferred Experience

· Experience in retail buying at large or big box retailer.

· Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

· Experience in merchandise planning and allocation is a plus.

· Located in Mississippi preferred.
