Responsibilities:
-Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts of new families and children in our sites
- Ensure your site is operating effectively; maintain licensing, safety, and educational standards
- Develop and implement educational programs and curriculum that align with the organization's goals and objectives
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to create a positive and engaging learning experience for students
- Monitor student progress and implement interventions as needed to support academic success
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns or issues that may arise
- Coordinate and participate in school events, meetings, and conferences as required
Qualifications:
- Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds,and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Child Development or a related field (12 ECE units 6 ECE administrative units required)
- Previous experience working in education administration or higher education teaching
- Strong knowledge of educational principles, practices, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, staff members, and other stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Passion for education and a commitment to providing quality learning experiences for students
