CHAMPION TRUCKING COMPANY, INC. is Hiring a Lowboy Driver Near Jeffersonville, IN
Drive Tractor/Lowboy Trailer to customer locations for pickups, deliveries, and branch transfers of construction equipment. Properly and safely load and unload equipment on and off of delivery vehicle. Driver must maintain a safe driving record at all times. Most loads to be hauled will be Oversize requiring necessary permits. This position will require a minimum of 1 year hauling heavy construction equipment, i.e.: Excavators, Dozers, Highlifts, Cranes, etc..
Department of Transportation (DOT) log book to be in 100% compliance.
Drivers Daily Inspection Reports to be completed at the end of each shift.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Driver must report all maintenance and repairs that need to be done to the dispatch supervisor, prior to arranging work to be done to the truck/trailer. Required to turn in all driver logs and pretrips to Dispatch supervisor weekly.
