Summary

The Packaging Design Coordinator supports packaging design projects from conception through to print submission. Working with cross-functional teams, this role will ensure that packaging design projects are delivered on time, and with the highest degree of quality and accuracy from start to finish. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

Reporting to the Packaging Project Manager, this position will be based out of our corporate office in Boulder, CO on a hybrid work program.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the coordination point of contact for packaging design projects.
  • Coordinate packaging creative projects from concept through to print, working with internal design team, brand team and other cross-functional partners.
  • Develop detailed timeline for packaging design projects.
  • Facilitate packaging proofing processes, coordinating supporting documentation and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Run replication quality assurance tests on packaging design projects using packaging quality tools.
  • Facilitate packaging approval processes, ensuring highest quality and accuracy in packaging design.
  • Schedule meetings, delegate task and follow up all on action items.
  • Gather and maintain packaging program documentation, such as packaging files, die lines, etc.
  • Work with and coordinate projects with outside packaging partners when required.
  • Work closely with our translations project coordinator and provide additional translation coordinator support when required.


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • Knowledge of packaging print processes and terminology preferred.
  • Knowledge of project management processes and terminology preferred.
  • Communicate Effectively: Speak, listen, and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.
  • Foster Teamwork: Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Organize: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities.
  • Plan: Determine strategies to move projects forward, set goals, create, and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results.
  • Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations to resolve the problem.


Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: Target pay range for this position is $55,000 - $67,000 USD annually, however base pay offered may vary depending on job related experience and skills. This information is based on anticipated market location (Boulder, CO)
  • Annual Incentive Eligibility: This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive plan. Awards are based on the achievement of both individual objectives as well as company objectives.
  • Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, 401k benefits, and annual vacation.
