Bindery - Digital Flatbed Cutter / Zund

General Position Summary:

Duties & Responsibilities: Retrieving cut files, setup, operating and monitoring cutter

• Retrieving digital cut file from database
• Setting up cutter for correct media and smooth operation
• Monitor job and cutter for quality throughout the production run,
• Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.
• Candidates must possess and subscribe to high work and business ethics, and be extremely self-motivated.

Required Skills

• Operator with 1-3 years’ experience on Zund cutter (preferred) or similar platform a plus.
• Related production experience in screen, flexographic and digital print.
• Solid basic math skills
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of integrity and work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
• Must possess superior organizational, problem identification & resolution skills.
• Self-motivated while demonstrate a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines.
• Meeting diverse customer needs.

Job Type: Full-time. 40 hour overtime if / when necessary.

Required experience: 1-3 years of digital cutting experience a plus.
