Waters Edge Health and Rehab is seeking for an Activities Director to lead and manage our Life Enrichment team. As an Activities Director, you'll manage the programs and operations to ensure the wellbeing of our residents, as well as manage other team members.

• Develop and implement Life Enrichment programs
• Develop, publish and implement monthly activities calendar
• Work closely with other departments to develop and coordinate resident and staff appreciation
• Manage department budget and ordering supplies and equipment
• Encourage staff, resident and resident's family to take part in activates
• Manage department budget and financials
• Manage other Activities Aide and Coordinators

Requirements:

• Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Management or similar is preferred
• 3 years of social/recreational program management, Life Enrichment manager or similar experience in long term care
• Creative in creating materials and activities appropriate for our residents
• Strong communication skills
• Strong computer skills
