Construction management company looking for a Commercial TI Superintendent. Local Sacramento work, typically standard day hours. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Superintendent or 5 years field experience and 2 years Superintendent.

The primary duty is to properly sequence/schedule, supervise, coordinate AHJ inspections and personally inspect all construction for quality and compliance with approved construction drawings. Including, but not limited to, scheduling, problem solving and solutions, coordinating and obtaining subcontractor estimates for change orders, inspection/review of progress for completion and occasional minor pick up work.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• On and off site management of commercial tenant improvements.
• Commercial construction knowledge and skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret project documents and construction drawings.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft project.
• Candidate must be able to clearly communicate with owners/tenants, material suppliers, subcontractors, project managers, co-workers, city and county officials/inspectors.
• Material take offs/orders
• Troubleshooting
• Daily and weekly reports.
• Walk and inspect construction site daily.
• Scheduling of commercial projects start to finish.
• Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously, multi-task under time constraints and work effectively and positively as a team player.
• Candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

• Must have at least 5 years Superintendent experience or 5 years field and 2 years a project superintendent.
• Must have strong organization and time management skills.
• Must have familiarization with all trades and sequencing for completion of job scheduling.
• Must be able to understand and interpret all project documents.
• Must be able to read plans.
• Must have reliable work truck, small power and hand tools
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft project.
