Champaign Unit 4 School District is Hiring a Multilingual Learner Instructional Coach/Newcomer Program Near Champaign, IL

Important Notes

  • This position is for the District's MLL Newcomer Summer School Program, which will be located at International Prep Academy.
  • MLL teachers will work with MLL students to build their language skills in English through cooperative learning and hands-on experience.
  • This program runs Monday-Thursday from June 10, 2024 - July 11, 2024. Exception: There will be no summer school on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 and Thursday, July 4, 2024.
  • Student contact hours will be from 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Staff will be expected to be on duty (and will be paid) from 7:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
  • Staff will also be paid for up to 18 hours for PD/Planning from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., June 3, 2024 through June 6, 2024.
  • Teachers will be paid at the rate of $35.00/hour.
