Job Overview:
Currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have Quickbooks Online experience and be responsible for maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Duties:
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy
- Manage general ledger accounting
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in all tasks
- Utilize 10-key typing for efficient data entry
- Handle debits and credits accurately
- Perform journal entries to record financial transactions
- Proficiently use accounting software for data input and reporting
- Experience in public accounting is a plus
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
