Position Summary:
We have an immediate opening for a 2nd shift crib attendant at our Walker, MI. facility. This role is responsible for:
- Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools, equipment, and materials.
- Issues tools, materials, and equipment to workers.
- Maintains records of tools/equipment issued and returned.
- Locates lost or misplaced tools/equipment.
- Maintains perpetual inventory of materials, tools, and equipment; orders/requisitions stock to meet required inventory levels.
- Inspects tools and equipment for defects and wear, reports damage/wear to Tool Crib Supervisor.
- May deliver tools/equipment using hand truck or powered industrial truck.
- May mark and identify tools and equipment using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal workplace instructions.
- Must be able to work up to 12 hours per day, including Saturday and Sunday.
- Must be able to obtain a Powered Industrial Truck license.
- Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
