CHALK Preschool (Energized by My Gym) is coming back to Los Angeles!

CHALK was founded with a mission to reinvent Early Childhood Education. We are an innovative and progressive preschool that promotes nurturing children, valuing educators and supporting families. We are seeking passionate, creative and optimistic teachers who are inspired to make Early Childhood Education a career.

CHALK Preschool operates with two lead teachers in every classroom. Teachers collaborate with overall classroom management, but have the opportunity to implement their unique style into a monthly, theme based curriculum. CHALK Preschool embraces a curriculum of nurturing the whole child; from academics, health and wellness to their social/emotional development.

Basic Qualifications

-High School Diploma or Equivalent
-Minimum 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Units

Preferred Qualifications

- BA in Early Childhood Education or Related Field
- Previous experience in a classroom/center setting
- CPR Certification

Responsibilities
-Create an inspiring and safe learning environment
-Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families and coworkers
-Create and implement lesson plans incorporating Language, Literacy, Math, Science and Art
-Organized, patient, creative and energetic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
