Job Title: POS Tester
Payments Team.

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented POS Tester with strong expertise in NAYAX, AVS (Address Verification Service), CVS (Credit Verification Service), API testing, automation testing, and proficiency in tools like Postman. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the payments industry, particularly in testing POS systems and payment gateways.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough testing of POS systems, including functionality, usability, and security aspects.
Develop and execute test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of POS software and hardware components.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to identify and resolve issues.
Perform API testing to validate communication between POS systems and external services.
Implement automation testing frameworks and scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
Utilize tools like Postman to test API endpoints and verify data integrity.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in POS testing and payment technologies.
Document test results, defects, and other relevant information in a clear and organized manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a POS Tester or QA Engineer in the payments industry.
Strong knowledge of NAYAX, AVS, CVS, and other payment verification services.
Experience in API testing and proficiency with testing tools like Postman.
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.
Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and scripting languages.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Previous experience working with payment processing companies such as Stripe, Elavon, PayPal, Worldpay, Adyen, Chase Paymentech, Helcim, Square, CyberSource, Global Payments, TSYS, ACI Worldwide, Amazon Pay, Braintree, Clover Network, First Data, Fiserv, Heartland Retail, Stax, Merchant One, Payment Depot, Inc. will be highly advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester).
Familiarity with POS hardware devices and peripherals.
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
