The STREAM School, a well-established progressive Early Childhood and Elementary School, seeks an innovative, creative, and knowledgeable 3-K for ALL (3-year-olds) Lead Teacher. The ideal candidates will have experience teaching in early childhood settings, knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach or a commitment to learning. S/he will be a positive school community member and will enjoy working collaboratively with a team and building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. Salary is based on NYCDOE Salary Schedule ranging from $55,000 - $68,650 per contract year.

Requirements:

• NYS ECE Certification (Emergency Covid-19 Certification will be accepted, but the teacher must already have the certificate before Sept. 1, 2021. Pending COVID certificates will not be accepted. NYCDOE expects the teacher to complete his/her certification within 2 years of hire date.)
• B.A. or M.A. Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Minimum 1 year of classroom experience
• Have a constructivist approach to education.
• Be creative, thoughtful, self-reflective, a problem solver, & a lifelong learner.
• Work collaboratively with partner teachers and across disciplines in the creation of meaningful, engaging, and authentic learning experiences for students.
