We are currently seeking a Southeast Environmental Section Manager to join our Advanced Energy – Environmental & Sustainability Team from Atlanta, GA.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA is uniquely qualified to assist any client with environmental services. From initial site characterization through remediation, CHA draws on the expertise of staff team members that possess considerable environmental site assessment and remediation experience. We have been providing environmental consulting services for over 25 years, and we employ a team of approximately 100 scientists and engineers who keep abreast of current regulatory issues.

The Southeast Environmental Section Manager, an important technical leadership role at CHA; key towards achieving our goal of Responsibly Improving the World We Live In, leads an effective and productive team of technical professionals. A Section Manager’s success is measured by their team's technical quality, achieving team utilization targets, engaging, and motivating their team to go above and beyond, and effective management of project budgets. The Section Manager organizes, directs and coordinates activities associated with the project scope of work either individually or collectively with their team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering, Science or related degree
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience is required; previous project or team management experience preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate technical proficiency in his/her respective discipline
  • Technically astute and strategic in thinking to manage the activity within the team
  • An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups
  • A high energy, results-oriented, resourceful leader
  • Ability to resolve matters timely and lead projects to completion with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, build and manage relationships across the company
  • Experience with project budgeting preferred
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of accounting processes
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the discipline’s technical processes
